Performance Teams
At 8 Count Dance, we offer both competitive and performance based programs for students who love to dance/tumble and are looking for more of a challenge! Read below to learn more about our advanced performance programs.

Ruby Dance Co.
Ruby Dance Co. is a performance and competition dance company designed for dancers looking to take their training and artistry to the next level. As a year-long program, company members work together to improve technique and strength, build life skills and community connections, and develop their own dance artistry in a positive and creative environment.
Ruby Dance Co. offers two programs:
-
Competition Team — Our established program, where dancers train and compete at regional and national dance competitions in addition to performance opportunities throughout the year.
-
Performance Team (New for 26/27 Season) — A brand-new option for dancers who want the full company experience — rigorous training, team camaraderie, and exciting performance opportunities — without the competition commitment.
Both tracks share the same high standards and community spirit that have defined Ruby Dance Co. for a decade.
Ruby Dance Co. is designated for dancers with at least 2 years of consistent dance instruction. Placement is based on age and skill level, and all dancers are required to audition. Company members in both tracks are required to take technique classes in a variety of styles — including ballet, tap, and jazz — in addition to team rehearsals.
Season 10 Intensive:
August 3-27, 2026 (T/Th)
